Idit Peri, with whom we cooperate in her series of lectures in
Givat Haim Ihud on various topics connected to the Holocaust,
developed an evening called “Concert in the Attic”, based on
stories, readings, testimonies and songs, about culture in ghetto
Theresienstadt. It took place at the end of Memorial Day 2012 in
the hall of the Regional Council Emek Yezreel. Beit Terezin was
represented by Oded Breda, who spoke to the large audience –
whose majority was exposed to the story of the ghetto for the first
time. Our member Tzvi Cohen from kibbutz Maabarot participated;
he related his experience as a child in Berlin before his deportation
to the ghetto and how he survived the Holocaust
